I was born and raised in Beloit, graduated from Beloit High School in
1998, and started at S&S Drug as a pharmacy student in June of 2000.
I graduated with a Pharm D. degree from KU in May of 2005. Taking the
position at S&S Drug was one of the best decisions of my life. The
entire staff at S&S works very hard to provide the highest level of
service, and my family and I feel very fortunate to be part of such a
great organization.
I have been working as a part-time staff pharmacist at S&S Drug
since moving to Beloit in 1990. After working in Kansas City prior to
this, I enjoy knowing customers by name and helping them with their
medication questions.
After graduating from Ness City High School in 2001, I attended Fort
Hays State University for my undergraduate classes. From there, I went
to the University of Kansas and graduated from the School of Pharmacy in
2008. During my final year of school, I realized that I wanted to work
at an independent pharmacy, so being a pharmacist at S&S Drug was
the ideal job for me.
I graduated from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in May of
2003 and have been working in retail pharmacy since that time. I
recently joined the S&S family in September of 2008, when our family
decided to relocate to a smaller community. I feel blessed to work with
such a competent and caring group of people.
I started working for S&S Drug while still in high school and have
continued working here for 38 years. I am a graduate of St. John's High
School, NCKTC, and Cloud County Community College. I have been married
to my wife Susan for 29 years and we have 3 grown children and 4
grandsons. I have a passion for the Scouting program and Indy racing.
I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician and also the Pharmacy Buyer at
S&S Drug. I have worked here since 1972 and have seen many changes
in the pharmacy profession in that time. I enjoy working with everyone
in the store to provide a valuable service to the people here in the
community and surrounding area.
I started working for S&S Drug part-time in 2003, while going to
school at NCKTC. After graduation, I took a full-time position and
became a certified pharmacy technician. This is a great job and I work
with wonderful people at S&S Drug.
Graduating from Beloit High School, I knew Beloit was where I was going
to be with my husband being a farmer. Starting in 1980, there has been a
lot of change in 30 years. One that that has not changed is the
dedication to our customers and working together as a family. I enjoy
our customers, and enjoy coming to work each day.
After working at the Youth Center for 17 years, I decided it was time
for a career change. Max and Michelle offered me a part-time job which
quickly turned into full-time. I look forward to going to work each day,
as I love my S&S family and assisting our customers with their
pharmacy and gift needs. Other highlights of my job are gift wrapping
and gift buying for our customers.
After teaching for 10 years and the birth of my third child I decided an
occupation change was needed. In June of 2007, I came to work for S
& S Drug as the office manager focusing on accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and human resources. I am thrilled to work with a
group of people that have always been my "second family" in a location
that has been my "second home" since I was a child.
I truly enjoy working at S&S Drug! My job title is inventory
control, and it is a challenge. I also work as a sales person during
some of the day. My husband is employed at Brown's Electronics, and we
also have a farming operation. My brother, Kevin, is part of our family.
We all love living in the Beloit community. It's a great place to live
and work.
